Testimonial: Kathleen Henry

At the beginning of his tenure as governor, Gov. Mitt Romney issued official proclamations naming “Gay and Lesbian Youth Pride Day” every year. Then, in 2006, Romney’s Chief of Staff Beth Myers informed Kathleen Henry, then the chair of the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, that Romney was rescinding the executive order that created the commission over objections to its inclusion of transgendered and bisexual youth.
